Exploring new frontiers for the treatment of Liver Disorders
17+ Years of using patented and proven stem cell treatment for Liver Disorder
Liver is the largest organ inside our body and is in charge of performing several important functions such as fighting infections and diseases, removing toxins from the body, controlling the fat level of the body by releasing the bile, helping blood to clot, aiding in digestion by breaking down complex molecules into simple forms, etc. Liver disease is a group term for a vast range of diseases which can damage the functioning of the liver, like Liver Cirrhosis, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C, among others. In Liver Cirrhosis, the healthy liver tissues turn to scar tissues due to toxins. Hepatitis C is a viral infection condition spread through contact of infected blood. Hepatitis B is a viral infection caused due to the direct contact with the infected person or indirect contact with the infected body fluids.
Conventionally, the condition of the liver can be diagnosed with the help of physical examination or blood tests, however, liver biopsy can also be performed to find out the level of tissue scarring. Liver cirrhosis is generally referred to as the chronic stage of liver failure with liver transplant being the only treatment alternative. For Hepatitis C, medicinal treatment is the primary care option, but risks of infection and side effects remain, leaving liver transplant as the only option. For Hepatitis B, vaccination can help with prevention, but once infected, the condition does not get better leading to complete liver failure. With stem cell technology, new cells are administered in the body. These cells are capable of differentiating into liver cells or other cells as required and can be used to treat chronic illness such as Hepatitis and Cirrhosis. Stem cells present in the liver can be utilized and activated for production of new tissue and repair the damaged ones.
Stem cells are known to be differentiating into cells of different organs; in this case, they can be repopulated at the damaged parts of the liver. With their strong paracrine effects, the cells differentiate into lost or damaged hepatocytes, create new blood vessels to improve the supply of blood or help in the production of supporting cells to improve the functioning of the vascular system. After the successful therapy, patients have shown remarkable improvements such as reduced inflammation & improved liver function as evident from the liver function test with increase in overall stamina and energy.
At Nutech MediWorld, the patients’ clinical condition is assessed for safety and efficacy of the treatment using conventional systems to check their eligibility for stem cell treatment for liver diseases on parameters like aspartate aminotransferase levels, prothrombin time and prothrombin activity.
We also conduct an additional round of thorough assessment using our patented NFS (Nutech Functional System) protocols whereby condition-based sets of parameters have been pre-devised for a finer assessment of the patient’s condition (and progress).
After evaluating the specific patient’s condition, a unique/bespoke treatment protocol is decided. This protocol is based on our proprietary stem cell platform, Reostem®.
The patient’s progress is monitored on a weekly basis to further optimise treatment protocols depending on the patient’s response.
At the end of the treatment, a complete assessment is done to track progress from when the patient came into where he/she has reached now. If required, a follow-up protocol is recommended.
At Nutech MediWorld, we follow an evidence-based, non-invasive, multi-disciplinary approach using Stem Cell Treatment & supporting therapies to improve the condition and overall quality of life for Liver Disorder patients. Each treatment protocol comprises of the use of our patented technology, customized to suit the condition of the individual patient.

We use SCT-N® and SCT-NX® products, based on a proprietary stem cell platform, ReoStem®. ReoStem® is a unique, replicable, clinical-stage technology platform for the generation of allogenic stem cells.
Nutech MediWorld’s regenerative medicine products are universally applicable: they do not require tissue-matching or the co-administration of immunosuppressive drugs.
There is absolutely no evidence of teratoma generation or tumorigenesis associated with SCT-N® or SCT-NX® use in over 17 years of clinical practice across thousands of patients.
Unique cell culture methodology allows scalability of cell expansion and production.
